About the 2009 First International Congress on Therapeutic Touch
This marks the first International conference presented by this organization since the name
change to Therapeutic Touch International Assoc. Inc., from Nurse Healers-Professional
Associates. We expect attendance from Therapeutic Touch organizations from Australia,
Europe, Africa, South America as well as all over the United States and Canada.
We are featuring Keynote speakers including our founder Dr. Dolores Krieger as well as having
the unique opportunity to hear Dr. Serena Roney-Dougal, an amazing researcher from
the UK as well as a rich variety of workshop presenters from our own peers and affiliate colleagues
and sister energy modalities. We chose The Boston area because a large number of
our members reside in the north-eastern US and Canada and Logan airport is easily accessible
from everywhere else. There is easy shuttle service from the airport to the hotel, 100
restaurants within a block, public transport at the front door of the hotel including a bus for
a free harbor tour!
Our conference theme, A Gathering of Healers, is the welcoming of all of our Therapeutic
Touch sisters and brothers from around the globe to share and learn together. We will deepen
the connection we all share with Therapeutic Touch and each other through this time we
spend together and take this experience back to enhance our practice.
Registration available on line at www.therapeutic-touch.org
